St. Mary’s and St. john’s school
Ash completed a full refurbishment of the school. A full strip out of the existing services took place taking the school back to its shell. New mechanical and electrical services allowed the school to work more efficiently, providing cost savings to the school. A full refurbishment and fit-out of classrooms took place. Other works that took place were; construction of a new entrance canopy, a new professional kitchen was installed, a steel-framed glazed atrium was added to extend the existing courtyard to create a new dining room area for the school, external cladding was removed and replace and new sports facilities including changing areas.
The project team won an Outstanding Achievement Award in the medium refurbishment category for Health and Safety from H&K Safety Services.
