Morley college

The Ash team started on-site at Morley College gallery in Summer 2020. Initially, we were appointed to reconfigure the main entrance of the building and the external courtyard, however, we were subsequently awarded the second phase to deliver a complete refurbishment. Works started with a complete strip out of the mechanical and electrical services, and structural modifications took place to make way for a new platform lift and wrap around staircase. Refurbishment works involved reconfiguration of the basement to include toilets and open exhibition space. The ground floor works delivered a bespoke end-grain pine block cut floor, new front glazing and new exhibition lighting throughout.
