Ash were appointed to complete refurbishment works and an extension to the existing building at St. Mary's Church in Guildford. The church is the oldest in Guildford, dating from Saxon times. This project comprised the demolition of the North Porch to be replaced with a larger porch and toilet extension to accommodate a disabled and standard WC. The entrance drive was widened and all stone/concrete floor in the nave and aisles were taken out and replaced with limecrete base and a new stone floor. The configuration of the building was also altered to allow for the installation of a meeting room and kitchen.
