The Ash team were working hard through our busiest time of the year. Summer brought not only record-breaking temperatures but also the completion of several projects for Ash.
The University of Surrey awarded Ash with their largest ever contract to deliver the refurbishment works of Cathedral Court, seven blocks of student accommodation fast-tracked over 11 weeks, ready for the new term start. This project was run in tandem with the construction of The Quiet Centre, a multi-faith building for prayer, meditation and reflection open to students and staff.
The second phase of works was completed to Tolworth Girls’ School. Following phase one, which consisted of a new sixth-form study area and associated resources, phase two involved the construction of a new music hall and practice rooms along with a theatre space.
The Soho CofE Parish School underwent refurbishment converting the central workshop area into a sensory/group room area. We also renovated the Boys and Girls WCs and constructed a set of interconnecting corridors between the group room and two WC locations.
With new projects underway as we move into the winter months, such as the restoration of Beckenham Place Park, The Fellowship Inn and construction of High Weald House at Bexhill Enterprise Park. The Ash team looks forward to all that lays ahead.
