Colvestone Primary school

Ash was successful in securing this reception classroom refurbishment project, which was used previously as a gym. Alterations were made to the pre-existing listed staircases leading to the mezzanine level to create more usable floor space for students. Works consisted of the installation of a wet play zone, new glazing to the mezzanine area and new WCs connecting to the existing drainage.  Refurbishments to the existing timber flooring were carried out, and extra effort was put in by our in-house carpenters to ensure all original features were retained and materials were reused where ever possible.
